AM3D opens new office in Japan

AM3D – a global market leader in audio enhancement solutions – has opened a new office in Tokyo, Japan in response to a sharp rise in the demand for AM3D’s solutions from Japanese manufacturers of consumer electronics. The new office formally opens February 1st and will comprise both technical and commercial staff, all of whom are local employees with strong previous experience in working with AM3D.

“Our new office is a testimony to our current success on the Japanese market, and prepares us for several new deals that we expect to close with leading Japanese manufacturers already this year. We expect that our solutions will be of interest to practically all companies involved in developing consumer electronics in Japan. And of course we are also keeping a watchful eye on the Japanese automotive industry,” says Jacob Andersen, Sales Director of AM3D.

The Denmark-based company has for more than a decade provided sophisticated, patented 3D audio and audio enhancement software for implementation into a wide range of audio products, including headsets, home entertainment systems, gaming devices, in-car entertainment, and mobile phones. “Our technology brings, for sure, a lot of value to the customers in Japan to increase their quality of audio experience”, says Nobuhito Miura, CEO of AM3D Japan.

“I am very pleased to have been given the task of developing the Japanese market for AM3D, and I am very confident that Japan will be a key region in a short period of time. AM3D solutions provide an effective way for Japanese manufacturers to vastly improve the end-user’s audio experience. And boost in quality usually comes at a marginal additional cost,” Mr. Miura says.

AM3D technology offers a vastly improved audio experience including the benefits of such features as enhanced bass performance, equalization and – not least - virtual surround sound. AM3D’s transducer equalization solution has provided many manufacturers with a sharp competitive edge by substantially improving the end-user’s listening experience without the manufacturers having to invest in more expensive hardware.

AM3D’s new office in Japan is located in the Akasaka district of Tokyo. More details are available at www.am3d.com.
